How an Inspired Adventure Works

At Inspired Adventures, we believe that challenges allow us to grow,  to learn and to lead an inspired life. Our charity challenges are more than just a one-off venture. They fuel change, embrace something greater than the habitual everyday routine and empower ordinary people to achieve extraordinary things.

By taking on an Inspired Adventures charity challenge,  you will have the special opportunity to trek, cycle or run alongside passionate people just like you, for an important cause you care about. You will challenge yourself like never before in some of the world’s most spectacular destinations and make friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

When you register for an Inspired Adventure, you will take on a challenge to fundraise for a charity and cause you are passionate about. Alongside your new philanthropic journey, you will also embrace your inner adventurer by taking part in a physically and mentally demanding challenge involving either trekking, cycling or running. We’ll be there throughout the journey offering fundraising and travel support every step of the way.

Our adventures are designed for people of all ages and fitness levels. We have had adventurers aged from 16 yrs to 84 take part in our charity challenges, all united by their sense of adventure and passion for the cause.

While no prior trekking, running or cycling experience is required prior to registering for an Inspired Adventure, our adventures are physically challenging. The more physically and mentally prepared you are, the more you will enjoy it.

Upon registration, your Fundraising Coordinator will be in touch with advice and resources on preparing for your adventure. While fundraising and fitness are your responsibility, our expert fundraising team are behind you every step of the way.

Throughout your adventure journey, we will connect you with your fellow adventurers and the charity you are supporting. We will also organise a meet and greet for everyone prior to departure (geography permitting).

Let’s break it down. The cost of participating in an Inspired Adventure includes: 

Upon registration, you will be required to pay a registration fee to secure your spot on the team. The fee will also cover your fundraising support to help you reach and exceed your target before you depart for your adventure.

In the months following your registration you will make your travel payment, which will cover your flights*, accommodation, transfers, meals, local guides, and more so that you can sit back and enjoy your adventure.

By taking on an Inspired Adventure, you are pledging to raise urgently needed funds for your cause. The fundraising target is separate, and goes directly to the charity. The minimum target for most adventures is between $3,000-$4,000.

(*Note: some adventures are land only packages and do not include the cost of flights.)

Alongside support from the charity, you will also have regular support from your own Inspired Adventures fundraising coordinator, who will help you develop and manage your fundraising plan and call you regularly to ensure you reach your target.

Upon registration, we will send you a comprehensive Fundraising Toolkit that is full of ideas to help you reach your target. 

You will also have access to plenty of fundraising event guides, from classics such as trivia nights, movie nights and sausage sizzles, to more out-of-the-box events. Our expert knowledge is guaranteed to help make your fundraising event a success.

You’ll find all of our incredible adventures listed on our calendar. Once you decide on an adventure that’s right for you, simply enter your details in the “Find Out More” box located on the right hand side of the adventure page. You will then receive your information pack with the itinerary and additional challenge details.
