Meet Pius, one of the Assistant Guides who accompanies teams up Mount Kilimanjaro. He first started hiking Mount Kilimanjaro in 1994 as a porter before taking time to work as a chef in a nearby hotel. In 1998 he began working as an Assistant Guide, accompanying groups up the mountain. He’s originally from Moshi and his favourite adventure destination is Mount Kilimanjaro. He loves that his country is so peaceful and has many beautiful places to visit.
