Meet Gopal Adhikari, one of our head trekking guides in Nepal for many of our Everest Base Camp and Annapurna treks. Gopal is from Nepalgunj, Nepal, a city over 500km west of Kathmandu, sitting near the border of Nepal & India. He enjoys mountain trekking and has been working as a trekking guide since 2005. In 2016, Gopal climbed Imja Tse (also known as Island Peak), a mountain in the Himalayas standing at 6,189m. In 2017, he climbed Mera Peak another mountain in the Himalayas which stands at 6,476m.
