Brent has an adage in life, “Never stop exploring.” And if you can combine exploring with raising money for charity and pushing yourself beyond your comfort levels, all the better.

Brent is passionate about providing care in austere and remote environments. Brent is an emergency medicine registrar who currently splits his time between his hometown of Geelong, working in remote Indigenous communities in the NT and WA, as well as volunteering for the Himalayan Rescue Association in Nepal. In 2018, he will complete the Everest Mountaineering Season as the voluntary physician at EverestER, located at Everest Base Camp.

Brent has trekked, climbed and skied multiple mountain ranges in Europe, Nepal, China, Japan, Canada and Australia. He has deployed with the Australian Army on humanitarian aid missions and worked with professional cycling teams, Ironman and ultra trail events around Australia and New Zealand.

“Never stop exploring.”
