Dave Rawlins

Dave got his first taste of Inspired Adventures in 2011 when he participated in Rainforest Rescue’s Orang-utan Adventure Trek in Sumatra. He had a blast on the adventure and especially love the idea of fundraising for an important cause. After that, Dave jumped on board as a Team Leader and has led adventures in Borneo, climbed Mt Kilimanjaro, trekked the Inca Trail and experienced China on the Great Wall.

When Dave isn’t off on another adventure, he lives near Byron Bay and works as an ecologist with his Zoology degree. For the past 10 years, Dave’s run his own bush regeneration business, where he restores areas of native vegetation through tree planting and weed control projects. He also leads training and tours in various aspects of biodiversity conservation and sustainability.
