Originally from Melbourne, Timmi spent years running a large business and specialised in hotels part time, before making a “sea change”, initially to the wide open spaces of Central Australia. Working as a four wheel drive safari guide, Timmi showed off what Mother Nature has placed in the Australian outback to mainly International visitors, bushwalking each day, cooking and yarning around fires each night before crawling into a swag and falling asleep looking at clear open skies. Working in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park as well as Kakadu National Park, Timmi educates people about two of Australia’s four dual world heritage listed sites, as well as hike guiding the famous Larapinta Trail, one of the best arid treks in the world. Timmi says he’s happiest atop a bike or kayak, with a hiking pack on his back. “I love to be pushed out of my comfort zone, and the only thing I like even more, is doing it with others and helping each other to achieve!”
