ChildFund New Zealand works with some of the world’s most deprived, excluded and vulnerable children and their communities.
We strive for a world where children, regardless of religion, race, gender or disability have the opportunity for a safe, healthy and happy childhood.
There is no ‘one size fits all’ end to poverty. We work with families and communities to give children the chance to go to school and get a good education. We make sure they can see a nurse or doctor when they need to. We help families to grow food so that children eat well and grow up healthy and strong. We help parents and young people so that they can work and earn an income to support their families, so that eventually the cycle of poverty is broken.
